About our Venues
As we have begun renovating The Huntington Theatre, our Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA will be our primary home for the 21/22 season, with six in-person productions planned for the Calderwood and one additional in-person production to be held at the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre.

Built in 1925, the building today known as The Huntington Theatre was designed and constructed as America's first civic playhouse.

The Huntington also performs in the Virginia Wimberly Theatre and Roberts Studio Theatre at new Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.

Land Acknowledgement
The Huntington acknowledges that our physical spaces stand on the occupied homeland of the Massachusett people. We'd like to begin by acknowledging the Massachusett Tribe from whom the Colony, Province and Commonwealth of Massachusetts have taken their name. We'd like to pay respect to the ancestral bloodline of the Massachusett Tribe and their descendants who still inhabit the land to this day. We honor and respect the many native peoples who are connected to this land, past, present and future, including the Nipmuc and Wampanoag peoples.
